James Henry Trotter’s life started out as a very happy life by the sea with lots of friends. Until one day, his mom and dad took a trip to the San Diego zoo. Then disaster struck as James’ dear mother and father were gulped and swallowed down by a hungry rhino that had escaped from the zoo. Poor James had to be sent off to his evil aunts aunt Spiker and aunt Sponge. The house had to be sold immediately. Poor James was forced to do all their dirty work. This story is about a very peculiar phenomenon that takes place in the evil aunts garden, behind a bush and I’ll leave the rest for you to figure out.
I think this book is excellently written and absolutely chalk full of action. I think that you also would absolutely love this book. It is one of the best fantasy books I’ve ever read. I would give this book a 9.5 out of 10.
